Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Elite Extreme Gen 6 mobile chips, featuring upgraded NPU and GPU for AI performance, new wireless radios, and custom Oryon CPU cores reaching 5GHz. The chips use TSMC's new 2nm N2P process with GAAFET technology and introduce a two-tier product strategy differentiating by features rather than raw performance.
