While teachers recognize devices help learning and support their use for specific student groups, opinions are mixed on overall benefits, with about half saying devices cause equal harm and good. Twenty-seven percent of U.S. workers now fear technology could make their jobs obsolete, up from 13% in 2017 and 20% in the prior year. Concern has surged among college graduates and younger workers under 45, where tech displacement now ranks as the top job worry. Traditional employment concerns like layoffs and wage cuts remain relatively stable.
