France's National Assembly Finance Committee passed amendments to tax stablecoin exchanges starting January 2027 and impose a departure tax on crypto assets exceeding €800,000 for relocating taxpayers. The amendments must be reintroduced during full assembly debate beginning October 13, with a vote scheduled for October 20.
