The 2026 Small World in Motion Competition features judges including Joe Dragavon, director of the BioFrontiers Institute's Advanced Light Microscopy Core at the University of Colorado Boulder; Quinten Geldhof, a technical designer at the Museum of Science in Boston known for microscopy content on Instagram; Corey S. Powell, an award-winning science writer and former editor-in-chief of Discover magazine; and Meredith Sagolla, director of the Center for Advanced Light Microscopy and Electron Microscopy at Genentech with 19 years of biotechnology expertise.
