Pawl is an iOS app that blocks gambling-related apps and websites using Apple's Screen Time, requiring a physical FIDO2 security key to unlock and enforcing a 15-minute cooling-off period before access resumes. The app is designed to create friction during moments of high gambling urge by requiring users to physically retrieve a key stored elsewhere, with optional sponsor oversight.
