Meta has unveiled holographic avatars for its new VR glasses and Ray-Ban Display frames, powered by the Muse Realtime Avatar model. The avatars convincingly replicate facial expressions and are surprisingly lifelike, though they show only frontal views rather than full 3D representations. Setup takes about 5 minutes using facial scanning and voice samples.
