    Meta admits Muse’s likeness to OpenClaw isn’t a coincidence

    Meta admits that its AI assistant Muse was heavily inspired by OpenClaw, an open-source project, though Meta built Muse from scratch. Meta copied several design elements from OpenClaw, including file names and configuration content, because the team believed OpenClaw's creator got those details exactly right. Muse has become a breakout success, recently hitting No. 1 on the U.S. App Store.
