Jevcut is an auto-clipper tool that converts long videos into standalone short clips by having code enumerate all possible cut points (sentence ends, pauses, speaker changes) and using the Jev model to judge which clips work best, rather than letting the model choose timestamps directly. It has been benchmarked against simpler approaches on 38 hand-labeled videos across 13 genres and costs approximately 3¢ per hour of video to process.
