Project NOMAD is a self-contained, offline-first knowledge server that runs on Debian-based systems and provides AI chat, offline Wikipedia, educational courses, maps, and various tools through a browser-based interface. Installation is terminal-based and can be customized via Docker Compose, with optional GPU acceleration recommended for running local AI models.
