Kyno is a system that makes direction a first-class primitive for AI agents by allowing humans to set and update missions and principles (called constitutions) that guide agent behavior. Agents fetch current direction through adapters before each step, enabling real-time mission changes without halting workflows. The tool is available via pip and supports multiple transport mechanisms starting with SQLite and stdio.
