X users discuss Embervale, a pixel farm game launching on Robinhood Chain with activities like planting, raising chickens, baking, fishing, and mining. Users express optimism about the game's potential if it executes smoothly on interface details and daily rewards, while noting the game is currently in early access application phase with gameplay coming soon.
Lazzaro et al. from Dartmouth present a programmable readout (PRO) pixel architecture for image sensors that can be reconfigured to optimize for low noise, high speed, or high dynamic range by routing photogenerated charge to different in-pixel amplifiers via a CCD router. A test chip with a 36×94 array demonstrates the concept using floating diffusion and floating gate amplifiers, with preliminary images showing distinct performance characteristics across different exposure times and readout modes.
