BEACON is a GPU-based search for large prime gaps that discovered a record-breaking gap of 59,724 with merit 42.5192, surpassing the previous record of 41.9388 from 2017. The search used four RTX 5090 GPUs and a sophisticated algorithm combining sieving, prediction, and symmetric testing to identify twenty-two gaps that entered the Prime Gap List in September 2026.
