Zhao Changpeng warned Ledger hardware wallet users about a supply chain attack involving counterfeit or tampered devices sold through distributor CryptoBilis, primarily affecting Southeast Asian users. The incident has resulted in hundreds of wallet thefts across Bitcoin, Ethereum, and TRON networks with losses exceeding 86 million dollars, though the root cause remains under investigation.
