Gamers are using Claude AI agents to create viral video game mashup mods that combine popular titles like Minecraft with Elden Ring, Spider-Man with Gotham City, and Mario Kart with Call of Duty. These mods use a passthrough technique that runs two games simultaneously, with creators reporting the process takes 3-4 hours and describing it as a renaissance for gaming.
PS Plus subscribers can claim six free Spider-Man: Brand New Day PSN avatars starting October 6th through the Sony Pictures Core app. The avatars feature characters from the record-breaking film, which became the highest-grossing US release of all time and the third most successful movie ever made.
