    Microsoft's Surface Laptop Ultra is an AI supercomputer dressed as a laptop

    Microsoft launched the Surface Laptop Ultra, a high-performance AI laptop powered by Nvidia's RX Spark N1X chip with up to 6,144-core GPU and 20-core CPU, designed to compete with Apple's MacBook Pro. Priced from $2,599 to $5,899.99, it features a 15-inch display, 12-15 hour battery life, and can run local AI models with 120+ billion parameters. Microsoft also released the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box, a compact desktop alternative with similar performance.
