Researchers developed SoL-Pi, an AI agent harness optimized for token efficiency through automated research loops that test and refine mechanisms across software environments. The system reduces costs by $4.36–$13.50 per hour compared to existing harnesses by identifying and combining reusable improvements discovered via recursive self-improvement processes.
