Dan Houser, co-founder of Rockstar Games, has launched Absurd Ventures and is developing multiple projects including an open-world comedy and a dystopian sci-fi game about rogue AI. Working with longtime collaborator Jeffrey Jones, Houser is building transmedia franchises across games, comics, podcasts, and animated series while intentionally avoiding other open-world games to maintain creative focus.
