A cryptocurrency scam used fake YouTube tutorials claiming to teach AI trading bot development with Claude to trick victims into building and deploying wallet-draining smart contracts. The scam drained 224 wallets of approximately 274.6 ETH (~$517K) by having victims unknowingly approve transactions that sent their funds to scammers.
