WEFAX is a radio fax transmission service for ships that broadcasts weather maps and satellite photos. Reception requires SSB-USB mode tuning and can be decoded using PC software like Fldigi or mobile apps. Many WEFAX stations are shutting down worldwide, making it an urgent time to receive transmissions from active stations like JMH in Japan, Kyodo News, and HLL2 in South Korea.
