Persimmon v0.1 is a user simulation model trained on diverse chat and forum data to generate realistic human-like conversational responses conditioned on user profiles, settings, and conversation history. Unlike assistant models with uniform guardrails, it intentionally represents varied human behaviors including disagreement and mistakes, evaluated through safety tests and knowledge benchmarks across different user personas.
