PUB used multiple AI detection tools to verify an image of a crocodile at Pandan Reservoir but found the results inconclusive, prompting precautionary search operations. The image was later confirmed to be AI-generated, and a 30-year-old Myanmar national employed by PUB's maintenance contractor was charged with communicating a false message and obstructing justice.
