2. your account is yours
your first buy creates your sapling account, secured by a passkey (face ID / windows hello / touch ID).
- every sell, harvest and change needs your passkey, checked on chain - sapling can only sign what our on-chain guard allows, instruction by instruction - export your key any time - cut sapling off any time - lost your device? recover it from your zcash wallet
the guard is live on solana mainnet, verified byte for byte against the build we tested, and only a 2-of-3 multisig can ever upgrade it.
3. shielded launches
launch a coin with ZEC from your shielded balance.
- every shielded launch gets a brand-new sapling account, made only for that coin - payouts go to an address that has never been used before - the payment comes from zcash's shielded pool, with no transparent sender
nothing sapling publishes says who launched the coin. every shielded launch carries a badge that shows these checks passed.
4. your fees come home
creator fees and holder rewards land in your sapling account as ZEC, then go home to your zcash wallet.
- normal launches: sent automatically to your transparent address - shielded launches: one tap, and they arrive as a shielded note
5. $SAPLING is the rootstock
0.50% of every trade on sapling buys $SAPLING and burns it, forever. the treasury buys and burns on top. trades from zcash accounts feed the burn exactly like every other trade.
