Crypto, but on chain especially, is often fuelled by new dynamics that enable speculation and new buyers/flows to push valuations up
In essence you need people to be able to believe for a minute rather than destroying each other on what are largely solved for games. When we've played the game before, the participants know the outcome, the targets are known and rushes for the exit brings valuations/tops down - the euthanasia coaster essentially
Most chains/ecos in crypto suffer from this - you've got highly efficient tooling to smooth out inefficiencies, repeated ideas and a history of the userbase being fucked
RH will have many of the same things, no doubt, but so far it also has new dynamics other chains do not - a global leader in retail trading that can directly onboard users, a large amount of political and social capital that exists outside of crypto, coming to market in conjunction with other onboarding tools like FOMO, access to tech/legal abilities to introduce a new, larger asset class in RWA/stocks on chain in new innovative ways, and what appears to be a good, core group of builders on the chain
I don't think this gets rid of the same issues other chains have had, or makes it immune to them, but the dynamic of what it could be and the market it is open to means imo it offers a lot better opportunity to dream a little bigger than repeating the same games from previous cycles on previous chains
