I’ve had so many private conversations about stonk fun eco (solana:6GmAFSYs4gk3FDao5FzzySQpPZaWsa4rUJHacpMpUNgx) and flagship tokens (solana:HcRLc9VDgjLeK154xDawfb1dmVJ98DoSqcwTHGqiDeJR solana:8RVBk8vxLiUHueLUW1f4izFVqN3nWippLhkohKg6EGkS)
people, having been traumatized by anything memecoin or launchpad related going back to probably mid 2024, initially completely tune it out. I deeply empathize with that, because approaching what I call “the previous generation” launchpad/memes with anything other than extreme skepticism and defensiveness is a fast way to lose money. Being skeptical of stonk fun (and pons, on RH chain) is the result of “adapting to the market” to protect yourself from loss. I get it better than anyone - I’ve taken zero days off all bear, but completely checked out of memecoins for the past ~14 months. Until now.
I could go on at length about the eco tokens, but just focusing on $STONK
Imagine if pump fun launched today, but instead of 10B FDV with most supply sitting in investor’s hands, it was a totally fair launch. All tokens circulating, no supply dumping on your head. Anyone can buy from zero. Even today it’s barely north of 200m mcap, and btc is 50k below prev ath. Whole bull run ahead. Deflationary from day 1; 60% buyback and burn, with most of the rest supporting top eco tokens (insane flywheel). Meaning the token price has pressure to default go up, not default go down.
And the coins launched on it have totally different tokenomics, and incentivize buy-and-hold PVE, free yield, and inculcate a sense of positive and cozy community spirit we haven’t seen since the advent of wif or bonk.
The coins are down today b/c of BTC pulling back on illiquid weekend conflict headline churn, which is an opportunity. We’ll get plenty more mini dips over the coming weeks (alongside people panicking, a reliable sign we’re in the early early bull wall of worry climb)
