## @CEOAdam (Adam Aron) · 09-13 03:52 · ♥283 ↻89 💬101 Hey there @DanGallagherDC, in the past week you and @vladtenev CEO of Robinhood have made public comments defending your use of and “standing behind” your relatively new Stock Token concept.

I think this practice is abhorrent. It defeats the very ethos of share ownership. Public financial markets were created so that companies could raise capital, and so that investors could share in the wealth created as a result. Not to turn investing instead merely into some gamified business-oriented casino.

If by your own admission you can’t offer or sell Stock Tokens to “U.S. persons” why does your U.S. web site talk about them so much and so favorably?

Vlad: How can a U.S. brokerage firm be proud of creating an offshore Channel Island operation in far off Jersey specifically with the intent to operate outside U.S. securities laws? Is there potential confusion that Stock Token purchasers are getting less than all the rights accorded to real shareholders, and if so do you care? If those tokens are theoretically backed 1:1 by real shares, but hypothetically some of those underlying real shares are in turn lent out to short sellers, are the Tokens really backed 1:1 in fact?

Dan: I think U.S. securities laws have protected the public very well over the past century. You spent much of your career at the SEC. Deep down, in your heart of hearts, how can you really think a world without the precautions imposed by U.S. securities laws creates a better, safer environment for investors?

Choose whatever descriptors you think best make sense under the circumstances: Non-regulated, derivative, synthetic, sham, debt-backed securities trying to simulate actual real stock, or pick your own words if these don’t fit.

Stock Tokens may make you an innovator in your own eyes. In my eyes, they bring your firm dishonor. https://x.com/CEOAdam/status/2098983042136088800

## @NKLinhzk (Lynn) · 09-13 01:45 · ♥91 ↻8 💬67 sat with the @hoodminers_rh note from this evening and the number would not leave. 117,000,000 inscriptions on Bitcoin.

no link. no CTA. just sitting there. they say a portal is coming and that this collection lives on that intersection, but the window to own one is already thinning...

i keep arguing with myself whether that is mood or a real constraint. most inscriptions i have touched never talk back. they are files.

a Hood Miner is supposed to be an account that can receive what that portal moves onto Robinhood, not become inscription number 117,000,001 with better lighting.

if the portal slips, it is still a sealed chassis. if it shows up, you are holding the socket, not another mute file...

still on the @NucleusCodes boards while that window closes. not adding noise, just not wanting to miss the only door they are leaving open.

have you ever inscribed something on Bitcoin and watched it go silent after the first week? would you treat a @hoodminers_rh rig as another inscription, or as the account that is supposed to wake one up?

## @DrPengu6 (Dr Pengu) · 09-13 02:50 · ♥73 ↻2 💬63 Few months ago I was thinking about what happens to all those Bitcoin inscriptions once they stop being treated like collectibles.

And just like a surprise @hoodminers_rh dropped an update in their X handle regarding their ongoing infrastructure around it

117000000 inscriptions already exist on Bitcoin and still counting, but a lot of them basically just sit there.

no destination.

no real place to interact with another economy.

that’s where the upcoming HoodMiners portal starts making more sense to me.

the NFT Collection has 5,000 sealed ERC-721 rigs, and each Miner comes with its own ERC-6551 wallet on Robinhood Chain.

so the Miner isn’t just the thing you hold.

it can act more like a docking point between Bitcoin-native assets and an EVM environment.

that part caught my attention.

instead of treating inscriptions as static objects that stay locked inside Bitcoin, the architecture gives them a possible route into another ecosystem where they can be received, held and used.

i’m less interested in the countdown now.

i’m more curious about what actually happens when that portal goes live and those two asset environments start talking to each other.

because if the connection works the way it’s designed, the Miner becomes more than an nft with a rarity grade.

it becomes infrastructure for giving idle Bitcoin assets somewhere to go.

that’s the experiment i’ll be watching. https://x.com/DrPengu6/status/2098967421667201251

## @0xLongDC (Acu.eth) · 09-13 02:34 · ♥58 ↻1 💬62 GM,

There’s something interesting about @hoodminers_rh that goes beyond the usual NFT mint narrative.

Each rig comes with its own wallet.

That means the rig itself can potentially become an active on-chain object — holding assets, interacting with other systems, and carrying value independently of the wallet that owns it.

The fact that those assets aren’t necessarily restricted to Robinhood Chain makes the idea even more compelling.

It starts to look less like “mint an NFT” and more like owning a portable piece of on-chain infrastructure.

The sealed grades add some anticipation before reveal, but I think the real story begins after that.

Interested to see what these rigs can actually do once the mine opens. ⛏️ https://x.com/0xLongDC/status/2098963611700068753

## @linh180796 (Link.eth) · 09-13 01:18 · ♥61 ↻1 💬59 The chain underneath an NFT can shape the entire experience around it.

That’s why the direction @hoodminers_rh is taking feels worth looking at.

Instead of treating Robinhood Chain as just the place where the collection lives, HoodMiners is building its NFT ecosystem around it.

The bigger picture gets more interesting when Bitcoin enters the equation.

The project is exploring connections with Bitcoin and Bitcoin-native assets, creating a setup where different parts of the crypto ecosystem can interact rather than keeping the NFT isolated in its own corner.

I see three pieces working together:

Robinhood Chain → the onchain environment HoodMiners → the NFT ecosystem Bitcoin → another asset layer

That combination gives the project a broader foundation than simply launching another NFT collection.

For me, the interesting question is how these layers eventually work together.

The blockchain isn’t just the background here.

It’s part of the product itself. @NucleusCodes > 引用 @linh180796: Scarcity is easy to create in NFTs.

Just set a supply and call it limited.

What I find more interesting is when that limited supply has an actual role inside the ecosystem.

That’s one reason I’ve been paying attention to @hoodminers_rh

The collection is capped at 5,000 Miners and lives on Robinhood Chain. Instead of making scarcity the entire story, the Miner is designed to have a function beyond simply being held.

Each one can be activated and used within the ecosystem, with rewards tied to the Miner itself.

I think this creates an interesting balance between collectibility and utility.

There are plenty of NFT collections where owning one mainly means owning a piece of a limited set.

HoodMiners is experimenting with something slightly different:

What if the limited supply represents a limited number of active participants in an ecosystem?

That distinction is small on paper, but it changes how I look at the collection.

The artwork may introduce the Miner.

Its role is what makes me curious about it. https://x.com/linh180796/status/2098944475276222865
