Since everything is visible large positions or transfers are easily front run yet, complete concealment isnt an option either proof is required to verify reserves or data accuracy

## @banishahr66 (Borhan) · 10-11 05:39 · ♥41 ↻0 💬51 BNB Chain has speed, low fees and a huge user base. So why do institutions still hesitate to build and trade at scale there? The missing piece is not performance. It is confidentiality and verification, and this is exactly where Primus fits in.
Let me break it down.
An ecosystem becomes attractive to institutions when it passes a simple test. Can a fund operate without exposing its strategy to every observer? Can a counterparty trust a claim without seeing everything behind it? Fast blocks and cheap transactions do not answer either of those questions. Privacy and proof do.
Start with confidentiality. On a fully public chain, positions and rebalances are visible in real time, which means competitors can copy a strategy or trade against it. For an institution managing serious capital, that is a dealbreaker. Primus addresses this side with FHE, which allows computation directly on encrypted data, with results that only the authorized owner can decrypt. Its Confidential Finance portal lets users hold, transfer and earn yield privately on encrypted assets.
Now verification. A large share of valuable financial information lives offchain, in bank records, accounts and credentials. Institutions need to prove claims about that information without exposing the raw data. Primus handles this with zkTLS, where an attestor cryptographically proves that internet data or an API response is authentic without accessing the underlying raw data. Its Proof of Reserve service extends this to real time verification of onchain and offchain portfolios.
Here is what makes this relevant for BNB right now. Primus reports that its zkTLS verification layer went live on BNB Chain in June. It also reports a partnership with BNB Chain and Brevis to build ZKredit. That means the verification foundation is already being laid inside the ecosystem, not only discussed in theory.
Think about what it can mean over time. Funds that can operate on BNB without leaking their edge. Stablecoin and RWA projects that can prove their reserves in real time. Counterparties that can check the claims that matter without receiving sensitive documents. Developers who can build applications on top of verified offchain data. Each of these makes the ecosystem more useful to serious capital.
And Primus does not ask anyone to start over. It sits above existing onchain financial rails, so institutions and builders keep the systems they already use while gaining privacy and proof on top of them.
There is also evidence that the team delivers. @primus_labs reports more than one million total users, more than ten paid enterprise customers across stablecoins, AI, layer twos and social platforms, and over 72 million dollars in value covered by transparency proofs for production projects. Its zkFHE research paper was accepted to USENIX Security 2026 as well.
The takeaway is simple. Performance gets an ecosystem noticed. Confidentiality and verification are what make it suitable for institutions. BNB has the first part, and Primus is building the second.
