Pull out data center & AI capex & you are left with a debt soaked consumer slump, painted as a boom by the people selling the chips. @DavidBCollum's point, shared on @BTCsessions, echoing @JG_Nuke & @edzitron, is simple: an economy that needs $NVDA's circular financing to look alive is already dead underneath. Huang's buyback is not confidence. It is a confession. Late cycle management loves the sucker trade of buying back its own stock when the story is most expensive. Gold & real assets are the refusal to buy the story at the top. 1. GCP will have 99B ARR (runrate) by end of year. Gemini is a subset of that at 12B ARR. 2. Anthropic will have 100B-120B ARR by end of year. 3. OpenAI will have 80-90B ARR by end of year.
Google has a 4.15T market cap of which GCP is worth 1.2T-1.4T. Looking at Anthropic's and OpenAI's growth rate and dominance over Gemini which is a critical battleground for AI Clouds, it's not too far of a stretch to say Anthropic is worth 2T and OpenAI is worth 1.4T.
