## @cryptomanianQ (MANIAN QUINE 🦞) · 09-24 22:36 · ♥46 ↻3 💬45 Most crypto wallets still treat privacy like an afterthought.

That becomes a bigger problem as onchain activity becomes more visible, traceable, and connected to real-world identity.

That’s what caught my attention about @Americanfort_io .

The project is building around privacy infrastructure with products like FortressName, Send-to-Name™ and SafeSend™, aiming to make private transactions and identity protection more practical without making the experience unnecessarily complicated.

The interesting part isn’t just the technology.

It’s the direction.

As more financial activity moves onchain, users will need ways to transact without exposing every detail of their financial life by default.

That creates a real market gap between transparent blockchains and the privacy people expect from traditional finance.

AmericanFortress is positioning itself around that gap.

There’s also a live contribution campaign distributing $15,000 in stablecoins to the top 100 contributors, which gives the community another way to participate while learning about the ecosystem.

Privacy may become less of a niche feature and more of a basic requirement for onchain finance.

Curious to see how far @Americanfort_io takes this. What do you think?

In markets where local currencies can be difficult to preserve value, I've started looking at stablecoins differently.

Many people have already made the decision to move into USDC. They are moving away from local currencies and into dollars that can be held, sent across borders and kept outside the local banking system.

But after making that move, what happens to the balance that remains?

This is one part of @zothdotio that I keep coming back to. zOPAL gives stablecoin holders another way to use that dollar balance, with the yield coming from short term Brazilian credit card receivables and real payment activity.

I also like that Zoth is building more than just a yield product, with payments, treasury and other financial services being developed around the same stablecoin infrastructure.

Stablecoins have given people access to digital dollars.

Now the question is what those dollars can do while they are sitting there. @base > 引用 @zothdotio: Across emerging markets, savers are swapping local currency for dollars. 94% of crypto volume in Argentina now goes into stablecoins. Nigeria leads the world in P2P crypto flows.

Stablecoins stop the drain. But USDC sitting in a wallet earns nothing.

zOPAL puts it to work: 12% base APY in USDC + up to 4% extra in Zocta Points https://x.com/hasithasubha/status/2103275952189186290
