It's whether developers can forget they're using "privacy technology."
That's why the EVM compatible sidechain matters.
Ethereum developers already understand the tooling.
@BeldexCoin wants to add a different property to that familiar environment:
private tokens confidential applications account based addresses privacy preserving computation
And the funding announced in August is explicitly being directed toward SDKs and developer tooling around this direction.
If successful, privacy stops being a specialist feature.
It becomes something developers can build into applications without reinventing the stack.
That's a much harder problem.
