what actually makes it useful?

that’s what made @PlayOnMint worth looking into.

MintABear is MINT’s NFT collection with a total supply of 4,444, and the mint is free on Robinhood.

but the interesting part isn’t really the number 4,444 or the fact that it’s free.

it’s how the Bears fit into the MINT ecosystem.

some Bears will be distributed to users through wagering activity on MINT, while others are being given out through selected communities and collaborations.

so getting one isn’t completely separate from what happens on the platform.

and once you have a Bear, there are different mechanics around it, including raffles, royalty rewards and Bear levels.

there’s also a connection between Bears and MINT Status, which makes the NFT more than just something you hold in your wallet.

i’m still going through the different parts of the Bear system, but that connection to actual MINT activity is probably the first thing I’d look at.
