PANews reported on October 8, citing TASS, that Boris Blokhin, Senior Managing Director of the Moscow Exchange, said the exchange plans to offer cryptocurrency trading services starting December 1 under new legislation, with testing to continue before the launch. Previously, the Moscow Exchange had already launched crypto asset index futures and perpetual contracts for BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, TRX and others for qualified investors. Russia's new rules require citizens to legally purchase cryptocurrencies through licensed intermediaries such as exchanges and brokers.
