The network moved off its old standalone chain in March 2025 and now runs on the OP Stack. Activity is still strong. @Celo said yesterday’s daily active users were above 459K, and the chain carries a large share of @Tether USD₮ transfers. USA₮ also launched here in July, with gas payable in the stablecoin from day one.
CELOccelerate passed in April, so sequencer revenue now buys back $CELO. About 8.5 million tokens have already been purchased from fees. $CELO trades around $0.10 today, up about 10% in the last day, with a market cap near $62 million. https://x.com/0xRexnftcrypto/status/2104844103083040890
