I will be focusing 100% on @_WOOFi helping to grow that part of the business. Previously I was splitting time on @StarchildOnX as I believed the agentic side had uncapped upside, but given WOOFi's position as a RWA liquidity provider we have so much more to offer the market and a much clearer path to realizing it
While I'm still obsessed and overly dependent on agents, I believe we can turn our onchain liquidity into a revenue-generating machine to fuel future user-facing innovations.
We need to scale up our support for bStocks on BNBChain, then quickly expand into other ecosystems like Base and Robinhood.
We also need a visual facelift as my conversations in Singapore revealed that most of the public still remember us as "WOO Network" or an exchange, which we are neither. We need to bury that past and focus on what will get us back to being a top cryptoasset business
Being a builder in this environment is tough - the cost and time of "you can just do things" continues to come down so the market is crowded and noisy. The only thing that matters is the core business metrics.
With that in mind, I'll be active here and publish more reports on the state of the protocol, treasury, and business. The $WOO community (of which im a member) is very far down from the all-time highs of 2021 and we deserve transparency. > 引用 @BenYorke: Token2049 Summary for those that missed it
1. Avoid main conference and big side events at all costs The main event was busing in loads of chinese tourists and there were halls and halls of scammy projects (as usual). Tourists cleaned the hell up on merch, some could barely walk with all the oversized bags
2. Few of the big ecosystems tried to run massive events and they all sucked, too crowded inside and well, standing outside in smokey & hot singapore surrounded by sweaty cryptobros is the most awful experience known to mankind, would say 90% of the side events were skippable
I wont name and shame but you can probably guess
3. I didn't go but Staking Summit and Vault Summit seem like a complete waste of time. Listening to a third day of panels about how "institutions are coming but they need more KYC and compliance solutions" should be actively shunned by the space, especially at an additional $700 a ticket. But I suppose where else will you meet hungover BDs for trading firms and custodians walking around in suits
4. Conversations were bullish - tokenization is growing and that trend seems to be one way, anyone building in the RWA space will have a massive opportunity
5. @EthereumHK threw a decent event with guys like Joseph Lubin @joechalom, shoutout to the SNZ guys who are super active in building up APAC region
6. @ether_fi lounge let you skip the main conference ticket but still "get in" and have meetings at the venue. Amazing utility for card holders
7. Coinbase event was surprisingly not cringe, they had a good choice with @TaikiMaeda2 and @gazza_jenks, good deal of top leadership there and guys like Jesse walking around chatting with people
8. Private meetings set up before the event are the only way to go, if you go and just follow the crowds you will have an awful experience, but for those that hustle its really positive ROI
