Lectura rápida El exjefe de Gabinete presentó un descargo de 78 páginas en la causa por enriquecimiento ilícito, luego de que el fiscal Gerardo Pollicita le pidiera explicar veinte puntos sobre su patrimonio. Adorni justificó la aparición de más de medio millón de dólares en efectivo que no figuraban en sus declaraciones originales con inversiones en Bitcoin realizadas entre 2014 y 2018. También realizó 22 rectificaciones en sus declaraciones patrimoniales e impositivas de 2023, 2024 y 2025.
La explicación por los dólares Adorni sostuvo que las operaciones con Bitcoin se hicieron “en negro”, entre particulares y fuera del sistema regulado, y que conservó las ganancias en billeteras de autocustodia. En su presentación también defendió haber mantenido ahorros en efectivo y moneda extranjera fuera del sistema bancario y del control fiscal. Esos fondos no habían sido incluidos en sus declaraciones originales.
Las refacciones y las compras El constructor Matías Tabar había declarado que las refacciones de la casa de Adorni en el country Indio Cua costaron US$ 245.000 y que cobró en efectivo y sin factura. Adorni sostuvo, en cambio, que los trabajos costaron US$ 175.000 y atribuyó la diferencia a inconsistencias en las planillas del contratista. También explicó que algunas compras domésticas fueron realizadas con la tarjeta de su secretaria y que luego le devolvió el dinero en efectivo.
Las diferencias patrimoniales Tras las rectificaciones, el descargo sostiene que queda una “brecha residual” de entre 15% y 18%, que considera compatible con los márgenes de imprecisión de una economía doméstica. La presentación forma parte del paso previo a una eventual indagatoria en la investigación por enriquecimiento ilícito.

Can't say I didn't try to stick it out for cycle timing!
So, I was wrong that the bear market would continue, and I did not buy the lows at 60k.
Market structure looks well on track to confirm a higher high, to reverse the downtrend into an uptrend.
I am not rushing to buy in here. I will still wait for a better opportunity. And of course, I'm still hoping that somehow the cycle finds its way back to a low in November–January, but at this point, I am marking that as wishful thinking.
There were plenty of bottom signals, and even bull market start signals, that I ignored in favor of traditional cycle timing and the completion of even more cycle bottom data.
Fortunately, the system I use is still very much alive and well; I just didn't respect it this time.
I am still sidelined in crypto, but I have a varied stock portfolio bought at the crypto lows that is doing well.
My focus is now on readjusting cycle expectations and figuring out what prices we can expect next for both Bitcoin and altcoins for the remainder of the year.
