Chainlink (@chainlink) called it a setback and said capital, builders and market share leave the country each month without a framework. Securitize (@Securitize) said it was disappointed but noted tokenized securities already sit inside federal securities rules, and expects the SEC and CFTC to press ahead with rulemaking.
White House crypto adviser Patrick Witt (@patrickjwitt) said the risk now is that global financial standards get set in Brussels or Beijing rather than Washington and New York.
