## @AvaLuna28 (𝓐𝓿𝓪 ♡) · 09-24 17:58 · ♥73 ↻0 💬92 Prediction markets are usually presented as a place to trade outcomes.
But @xomarket is building around a bigger idea:
What if users could help create the questions the market gets to answer?
That matters because the world has far more interesting questions than the standard markets we usually see.
Think about questions like:
• Will a specific DeFi protocol launch a feature before October? • Will a game reach 1M players this year? • Will a creator release a product before a certain date? • Will a niche crypto project hit a particular milestone?
These might not be obvious markets for a large centralized platform to create.
But someone following that niche may know there is real demand for them.
That is where XO’s Convictions come in.
Users can create markets across different categories starting from $10.
So instead of the platform deciding every question worth trading, users can introduce questions themselves.
Then there is an interesting creator incentive:
If people trade the market you created, you earn 20% of the lifetime fees generated by that market.
That creates a different loop:
Find an interesting question → create the market → attract traders → generate activity → earn from the market you created.
And XO doesn’t stop at creation.
The platform also combines trading, market creation and liquidity rewards as different ways users can participate.
That is why the “YouTube of prediction markets” idea makes sense as a useful way to understand XO 2.0.
YouTube didn’t become interesting simply because it had videos.
It became interesting because it gave users the tools to create, publish and discover content that the platform itself could never predict in advance.
XO is applying a similar creator-driven approach to prediction markets.
The interesting question now is how large and diverse the market catalog becomes when users are allowed to decide what questions deserve a market.
If you had $10 and could create any prediction market on XO today, what specific question would you want other people to trade?

## @TheDeFinvestor (The DeFi Investor 🔎) · 09-24 22:29 · ♥79 ↻1 💬19 Bad look for Circle.
The Bitget hacker stole $350M today, and a part of these funds was in USDC.
Circle had the possibility to freeze these funds as USDC is centralized, but it chose to do nothing.
That says a lot about how much Circle cares about saving user funds. > 引用 @tayvano_: hackers prioritized getting off arbitrum over dumping their usdc lmao
they swapped to usdc
they are holding usdc
they are bridging via cctp
and @circle does nothing

you hold one token tracking a mix of tokenized stocks and ETFs, and Ondo handles the rebalancing. available to eligible users outside the US..
what i like is how the products feed into each other:
- Ondo’s stock and ETF tokens become the holdings inside these portfolios - the portfolio tokens can then be used across DeFi where supported.
so you could keep your stock exposure and borrow against the portfolio wherever it’s accepted as collateral..
i can see the appeal for people who already keep their money onchain https://t.co/2yiGQHhjpI https://x.com/Axel_bitblaze69/status/2103197003836702770
