I am winding down my time at @CapApp and will be departing from my position as Head of Growth at the end of the month and go all-in @UFGDeFi. This was not an easy decision to make but it is the right one.
It's been an honor & pleasure working alongside @Benjamin918_ and the entire Cap team. Benjamin has stated that he wanted to get together a team of A+ players and he really did here. I've learned a lot over the past 21 months; It's hard not to when Cap is truly pursuing innovation in a sea of sameness. I'm proud of my work in bringing awareness and light to these efforts, especially in today's attention landscape. As Cap continues to advance a new form of credit to the productive economy, I'll be rooting for them from the sidelines and I know they will do me proud.
Yes it has been fun being "TradFi Dave" for a bit, but in reality DeFi Dave never left. Whether that is what @Cibolan2000 and I have been cooking at UFG or with the interviews @patfscott and I have been doing with @FullyVested_Pod, what both have in common is they are a vision of DeFi I want to see in the world.
Time is precious and there are few moments that are given to you where you can actually have an impact. Right now is one of those moments and I would be not true to myself if I didn't pursue it with all my heart and soul.
For everyone who has been apart of my crypto journey for the past 9.5 years, your support means more than you'll know to me. And as I enter this next chapter, I leave everyone with a quote from the greatest himself, Muhammad Ali:
“If my mind can conceive it, and my heart can believe it - then I can achieve it.”

What stands out is how Uniswap’s growth is becoming part of a bigger DeFi narrative.
Protocol fees, potential UNI burns, the Robinhood Chain deployment, and growing interest in tokenized real world assets could all bring more activity to the ecosystem.
I’m also keeping an eye on UNI through BingX, especially as the wider market starts reacting to these developments.
The bigger question is whether this activity can turn into sustained demand for UNI or if it is mainly narrative driven for now.

Bitcoin has incredible liquidity and recognition across crypto, yet much of its supply remains inactive.
The bigger opportunity is finding ways to give BTC more utility without requiring holders to sell their Bitcoin exposure.
strkBTC approaches this by giving Bitcoin holders access to Starknet from their own wallet. Once there, supported DeFi applications can provide different ways to use BTC onchain.
This could make Starknet an interesting environment for BTCFi, especially for users who already understand DeFi and want Bitcoin exposure included in their activity.
There are no guaranteed returns. Smart contract, bridge, liquidity and market risks remain.

You should not be a finance wizard to be able to invest, and you should not be chronically online to find things that can benefit you.
Having agentic finance emerge on open rails means that anyone, anywhere can come and build experiences through it, it greatly increases the TAM of entrepreneurs who can permissionlessly rewire finance.
History proves that open rails work.
Believe it or not, Microsoft had its own Internet at one point, but what ended up beating it? The World Wide Web.
In such a rapidly growing environment (agentic finance), open rails will be the accelerant, and closed walled gardens will simply not be able to innovate as fast.
The internet of information led to a boom in frontier “new-world” innovation, the internet of value will do the same.

لأن بدل ما كل عالم مالي يفضل لوحده الكريبتو في مكان الأسواق التقليدية في مكان والـDeFi في مكان تالت
Binance بتحاول تقرّب التلاتة من بعض جوه تجربة واحدة Crypto ↔️ TradFi ↔️ DeFi
وده ببساطة مفهوم TriFi
يعني Bitcoin وEthereum والعملات الرقمية يفضلوا جزء أساسي من التجربة لكن جنبهم بيظهر عالم أكبر فيه منتجات مرتبطة بالأسهم والذهب والفضة والأسواق التقليدية وفي الناحية التانية موجود عالم الـDeFi
بالنسبالي المثير هنا مش عدد المنتجات
المثير هو إن Binance بتغيّر السؤال نفسه
بدل هتتداول كريبتو فين؟
بقى ليه تجربتك المالية كلها لازم تكون متقسمة على كذا مكان؟ 🤔
وده يفسر جدًا اتجاه Binance ناحية مفهوم الـSuper Financial App
تطبيق واحد حساب واحد وتجربة بتحاول تربط أكتر من سوق مالي بدل ما كل واحد فيهم يفضل عالم منفصل 🌍
وطبعًا ده مش معناه إن كل منتج متاح لكل مستخدم التوفر بيختلف حسب الدولة ومحل الإقامة والأهلية والمتطلبات التنظيمية
وكمان مهم نفرّق بين امتلاك أصل فعلي وبين بعض عقود TradFi اللي بتديك تعرض لحركة السعر فقط من غير ملكية للأصل أو توزيعات أرباح أو حقوق تصويت
بس لو بصينا للصورة الكبيرة بعيدًا عن كل منتج لوحده
أنا بدأت مع Binance عشان Bitcoin والكريبتو

The interesting part now isn’t just the chart.
