## @StarPlatinum_ (StarPlatinum) · 09-28 11:14 · ♥55 ↻1 💬30 So what is happening with $PONS?

PONS went from $0.01 to $0.97 in less than two months.

Now it’s trading at 45% below ATH.

imo the answer is much more interesting than “PONS is dead.”

- $146.3M fees in the last 30 days - $25.2M protocol revenue - $16.2M directed to holders / buybacks - $2.45B DEX volume - $365M mkt cap

Let’s also ook at the last seven days.

- $25.2M monthly revenue - but only $2.21M in the last 7 days - and $191K in the last 24 hours.

That’s where I think the market is getting nervous.

PONS spent the beginning of September pricing in insane growth from Robinhood Chain.

It worked incredibly well while everything was expanding.

Now we’re finding out what happens when that activity slows down.

And there has been real sell pressure.

One whale sold 5.33M PONS for ~$3.67M at $0.68.

Btw Loracle has been aggressively shorting the token and already made millions

But there’s another reason I’m watching this closely: September 29.

Robinhood’s gas subsidy period is expected to end around then.

And I think the next couple of weeks will tell us much more about Robinhood Chain than the previous month did.

The chain has produced insane numbers while transactions were heavily subsidized.

Now we get to see how many people actually stay when using the chain starts costing them money.

And first I want to know what a normal month looks like.

Remember Launchpads have zero loyalty.

I’m watching Robinhood Chain volume after gas subsidies end.

And especially where the next successful launches happen.

Thoughts? https://x.com/StarPlatinum_/status/2104530282363646420

## @Pupchicoin (Spook) · 09-28 07:58 · ♥42 ↻5 💬35 It’s Monday, so let’s start the week with a quick look at what happened on @injective

There was a lot going on last week, so let’s break it down simply.

Meridian is officially live. The upgrade improves the infrastructure for regulated tokenized RWAs, while the CypherOS privacy alpha is coming next.

The Community BuyBack and upcoming Stockdrop also bring something new. Participants can burn their tokens, earn a share of ecosystem revenue and get a chance at tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain.

Then there’s USDC.

Injective’s native USDC is becoming a common stablecoin standard across multiple blockchains, and through LI FI users can now spend it across more than 8,000 brands.

The token is also becoming easier to access. It’s now available through Phantom, Backpack, Jupiter and other Solana ecosystem apps, while X has also added trading support.

And then there’s the regulatory side.

The SEC’s new guidance says token buybacks on a functioning network do not, by themselves, make a token a security. That’s regulatory clarity, not a permanent approval of the token.

The RWA numbers are also getting interesting.

More than $1B in assets are now tokenized on Injective, while Token Terminal shows around $1.1B added in tokenized real estate market cap.

A lot happened in just one week.

Meridian, RWA, USDC, BuyBacks, new access points, regulatory clarity and more institutional connections.

The rails are coming together.

Now the important part is seeing how much real activity they can bring.

It’s Sunday, I’m touching grass today, but I still had to write one interesting post for you.

There’s a notable update around @injective and its BuyBack mechanism.

The simple version is this:

The SEC has clarified that token buybacks on a functioning network do not, by themselves, make a token a security.

And Injective already has a mechanism built around this idea.

The network generates revenue from onchain activity. That revenue is used to buy back $INJ every month, and the bought tokens are permanently burned.

At the same time, community BuyBack participants and stakers can earn rewards in INJ, USDC and onchain stock tokens.

So the basic cycle looks like this:

More network usage creates more revenue. More revenue can fund more buybacks. Bought tokens get burned, while part of the ecosystem revenue can flow back to active participants.

And the interesting part is that the regular buyback and burn process is executed automatically at the protocol level.

Since mainnet launched in 2021, Injective says more than 7 million tokens have been bought back and burned.

Of course, this doesn’t mean the SEC has declared the token itself to be a non-security forever, and it doesn’t guarantee price appreciation.

But it does give more clarity around an important part of Injective’s token economics.

For me, the interesting part is the connection between actual network activity, revenue, token burns and rewards.

The network works, revenue is generated, and the token economy is connected to that activity.

That’s a pretty interesting model for an onchain financial network.

## @R2D2zen (R2D2) · 09-28 11:16 · ♥45 ↻2 💬29 Things I am paying attention to this week.

Robinhood’s annual Hood Summit as a catalyst.

Looking at the numbers across the board, the RH ecosystem has clearly hit a ceiling.

Hood Summit starts tomorrow and runs for 2 days, with “engines of creation” as the main topic. Pretty sure Robinhood Chain will be top of mind here. @vladtenev will be speaking during the keynote on day 1 with a lot of fresh news expected. https://x.com/R2D2zen/status/2104530711797448808

## @BitmanTW (Bitman) · 09-28 11:44 · ♥42 ↻6 💬19 People ape because a few KOLs bought, without knowing what they’re buying. Then they panic when those same KOLs take profits.

If your thesis hasn’t changed, a dip should be a chance to buy more. If your position is already big enough, just hold. If you’re scared to do either, why did you buy in the first place?

I’ve supported $PRISM since day one, when it was at 50k. I know what I hold, and I believe @prismassets is building something @vladtenev and @RobinhoodCrypto need.

I’ve never seen a dev like @Hash_hopes ship and share product updates every single day. You can see the track record on his profile. That’s what I bet on: a dev who keeps shipping and a product that fits where the market is going.

Prism launched on @flapdotsh, has support from the Base team member, and is building for Robinhood Chain. How many projects have support across all three?

$PRISM is going to $1B with or without you. > 引用 @Hash_hopes: hey fam, good morning.

finally mondays back.

today we will work on:

- finetuning V5 and polishing it for launch - rwa perps and social trading layer - adding and aggregating more cooler assets - improving the x bot - kyc plug-ins - working on more partnerships - improving quantum signatures better btc synthetic models

and many more, i just listed a few.

also we are in talks with a few angels too but can’t say anything for sure yet haha

btw here’s something i wanted to say.

i never usually wanna talk about all this but here it is:

> when you’re building something long term, whales, influencers, small traders all hold an equal amount of value for a token because in the longer term only the product sustains and attention can easily vanish. > and people can take profits and if someone taking profits marks the end of the token, that token shouldn’t exist in the first place haha. > people fud when they miss an entry, people fud when they fumble, people fud when you become successful, people fud to farm engagement and people fud to make sure their bags win.

real fud is only when someone stays and mentions genuine criticisms or has valid pointers.

and people taking profits is part of the process, the goal of every cryptocurrency is to both build the tech and build the wealth, you can’t demoralise someone for that.

whatever, we keep shipping.

we are also working on addressing a few structural gaps in current RWA infrastructure.

let’s build for 16 hours straight today, together.
