## @WealthEnrich (Advait Arora) · 09-22 01:56 · ♥69 ↻6 💬2 Autos, pharma, IT services, specialty chemicals, engineering, refining & petrochem etc have played a huge role in bringing India into the global manufacturing and services picture. But in coming future I think the next new set of industries will get built around space, semiconductors, data centres, electronics, solar & aerospace ! And if you dig a bit deeper into the industry updates and numbers, this get much more interesting too.

• Space: India’s space economy was around $8.4 billion in 2023. The target is roughly $44 billion by 2033, more than 5x. Rockets get the headlines, but satellites, imaging, communication, surveillance and components could become large businesses too.

• Semiconductors: India already has 12 approved manufacturing projects involving roughly ₹1.64 lakh crore. Semicon 2.0 adds another ₹1.27 lakh crore government outlay. Fabs are one part. Packaging, testing, gases, chemicals and equipment could create a much bigger industry around them.

• Data centres: Capacity was around 2.2 GW in 2025 and could reach nearly 12 GW by 2030. AI specific capacity itself could rise almost 24 times. Just imagine the requirement for transformers, cables, switchgear, cooling, backup power and grid infrastructure around this.

• Electronics: Production has already reached around ₹13.1 lakh crore, with exports at ₹4.24 lakh crore in FY26. Yet domestic value addition is still only around 18–20%. For me, components are where the next big jump can come from.

• Solar: India already has roughly 37 GW of solar-cell manufacturing capacity. The bigger question from here could be utilisation, which remains low in parts of the industry. Capacity growth alone will never tell us much.

• Aerospace: Airbus sources more than $1.5 billion annually from India and Boeing more than $1.25 billion. Together, already close to $3 billion a year & Airbus itself wants to cross $2 billion well before 2030.

What I find more interesting is how all 6 are connected.

More electronics means more components, more data centres means more power equipment & more aerospace and space means more precision manufacturing. Finally more semiconductor capacity means more chemicals, gases and equipment. This theme is big & big money will and can be made in finding unique companies where orders become utilisation, utilisation becomes margins, and margins finally become cash flow ! This is where I am doing my research now, for specific stocks in these areas. Will shar some stock specific insights shortly on this ! https://x.com/WealthEnrich/status/2102215410871664772
