Visa and Mastercard credit card users issued by Axis Bank are the first to be supported, bringing the total number of countries and regions supporting Apple Pay worldwide to 101. In recent years, Apple has continued to shift iPhone production to India, and this move is seen as its latest step in deepening its presence in the Indian market and boosting its services business.
