Transcribe any audio into the perfect piano roll
Give it an MP3, a MIDI file, or even a YouTube link.
Paste a link to any piano video and lumikey downloads it and transcribes it on your computer. Drop in an audio file and it does the same. Over 40 classics are already loaded to get you started.
Use it with your MIDI keyboard, or just a microphone.
Connect a keyboard over USB or Bluetooth and lumikey knows exactly which key you pressed. Or just use your microphone and it listens to your piano instead, acoustic or digital. Either way, lumikey always knows when you've played the chord.
It works out which hand plays what, and which finger.
Every note is color-coordinated by hand, with a small badge suggesting each finger. Tap any badge to pick a more comfortable finger and lumikey remembers your choice.
Practice one hand at a time
Turn on wait for the left hand and the right plays itself, while the song waits at every left-hand chord until you play it. Swap hands, or wait for both. Slow the whole thing down to a quarter speed and loop the trickiest sections.
Tweak the transcript
Drag notes, stretch notes, move them to the other hand, line up a chord, delete the noise. When it's right, export it as a MIDI file.
Laptop can't fit on your piano?
lumikey for iPhone, iPad and Android is the companion to the desktop app. Pair once by scanning a code, and everything you've transcribed on your computer shows up on the device, synced over your Wi-Fi. Prop it on the piano and get playing.
