Also interesting to look at the relationship btwn how higher capex might be leading to higher govt yields. That chart on net income growth being a result of markup of investments also worth a look.

Not less compute but more spending on the safety layer: eval compute, embedded evaluators, classifiers on inference. If the safety layer has to scale with both capability and usage then slowing the frontier could actually raise the cost of building and serving AI. https://x.com/dee_bosa/status/2100998431393345674
