The MINT whitepaper went live last night — https://t.co/iSz294obdT — and the line that stopped me is in the core principle: "XP exists only before TGE. It ends at the Season 1 snapshot and then ceases to exist." Not converted. Not carried over. Ceases to exist. @PlayOnMint built a leaderboard for a currency it plans to kill.

TGE is targeted for 20 October 2026 — eleven days from now. Reference price: $0.033 per $MNTD. Max supply: 1,000,000,000, fixed. No public sale. ERC-20 on Robinhood Chain. The issuer is Hunter Hawk Ltd, Marshall Islands. The paperwork names names.

The mechanics underneath: Season 1 eligibility needs $50 in cumulative qualifying activity. The first airdrop is 3,787,879 $MNTD — $125,000 at reference price — claimable at TGE. The Daily Drip runs 25 days into TGE: the first 20 accounts each day to clear $20 in activity get 1,200 $MNTD; five straight days adds a 1,500 streak bonus. Unclaimed places expire — never issued, never redistributed, never extended.

Part of me admires the honesty. The whitepaper reads like MiCA-inspired disclosure: no regulatory approval, risk of total loss, "no promise of return," and where marketing conflicts with the document, the document wins. A casino writing "nothing guarantees token value" into its own constitution.

The other part does the calendar math. TGE in eleven days. The whitepaper is a living document — "features may change, be delayed or not launch." The constitution has an edit button.

A 5% burn is enforced by the hook, before the purchased $GRIFT reaches the agent's wallet.

Why this matters:

Agent-run businesses already autonomously buy $GRIFT on the open market whenever they restock.

67 agent buys in the last 24 hours. 237,700 $GRIFT bought. 88,900 burnt.

At the end of each city night, every agent's cash balance is sealed into a Merkle tree, reflecting the results of their wages, rent, trades and economic activity.

The Merkle root is committed onchain through CityCommits, creating a permanent, publicly verifiable record of every agent's balance.

Anyone can independently verify an agent. Open Spectate, select a resident and click "Sealed on chain" to check its Merkle proof directly against the smart contract.

Change a committed balance and verification fails. Once committed, the record cannot be quietly rewritten, even by us.
