There’s an actual business underneath it.
$11.49M ARR in Q3, up 86% QoQ, with 276 paying accounts and adoption across exchanges, RWA markets, prediction markets and traditional finance.
Now the DAO is putting 100% of the funds it receives from Pyth products toward monthly $PYTH purchases.
Revenue growth and a buyback mechanism tied to the business is worth watching.

And after looking through the numbers, I think this could be a pretty significant turning point for $PYTH.
Here's why.
— The 100% Rule changes how Pyth's revenue connects to its token
Previously, the Pyth DAO allocated one-third of its non-PYTH treasury balance towards recurring token purchases.
Now, 100% of eligible funds the DAO receives from Pyth products will go towards accumulating $PYTH.
That includes open-market purchases using funds received in assets like USDC.
The important distinction is that this applies to revenue received by the DAO, not every dollar generated by Pyth's products.
But it means that as the business grows, there's now a much clearer connection between that growth and demand for $PYTH.
— And Pyth's business is growing FAST The Q3 numbers speak for themselves: • $11.49M in ARR, up 86% QoQ • 276 paying accounts • $9.68M ARR from Pyth Pro • $1.81M ARR from Pyth Indices
That's some serious growth for a project that many people still think of as just another oracle.
And with more customers paying for Pyth's data, the potential for funds flowing into the DAO's reserve mechanism increases too.
— Look at who's already using Pyth @Nasdaq , @coinbase , @Kalshi and @Polymarket are all using Pyth's infrastructure in different ways.
And in Q3, 94.1% of the $2.09T in RWA perpetual trading volume happened on venues using Pyth for pricing.
That volume isn't directly Pyth revenue, but it gives you an idea of how widely its infrastructure is being used.
So what does all this mean for $PYTH? You have a financial data business growing at 86% QoQ, expanding institutional adoption, and now a mechanism directing 100% of eligible DAO product receipts towards accumulating its token.
Of course, the actual impact depends on how much revenue reaches the DAO and how much $PYTH gets purchased.
But that's exactly what I'll be watching over the coming months.
