BTCFi has a visibility problem.
everyone talks about putting more BTC to work.
almost nobody talks about how much of that activity becomes public once you do.
that’s why strkBTC on @Starknet caught my attention.
you can bring BTC into Starknet and use it across DeFi.
lend. trade. provide liquidity. explore yield.
but when you don’t want your balance and movements sitting there as an open book, you have the option to shield your strkBTC.
and no, that doesn’t mean anonymous BTC.
it means something much simpler:
more control over what your financial activity exposes.
i think that distinction is important.
Bitcoin spent years being valuable because it was hard to control.
now BTCFi is making it easier to use that value across onchain markets.
the next question is whether users should have to sacrifice privacy just to get that utility.
strkBTC is an interesting answer:
bring BTC onchain.
make it productive.
then choose how much of the activity you want exposed.
BTC doesn’t need another use case just for the sake of it.
it needs better infrastructure around how we actually use it.

不认识你，也不相信你，所以想借100块，往往要先押进去价值更高的资产。
问题不只是风控保守，而是链上只看得到一个钱包地址。它不知道这个人有没有稳定收入、真实交易记录、平台等级或者链下资产。
但如果解决办法是把KYC、账户余额和交易历史全部公开上链，那信用有了，隐私也没了。
我觉得这正是 @primus_labs 比较有价值的一条产品线。
我在Primus页面里看到两类验证入口：
一类是Identity Profile，可以验证X、GitHub、Luma等链下身份和活动；另一类是Proof of Trade，已经展示了Binance、OKX、Bybit和Bitget的KYC与VIP等级验证场景。
它不是把完整账户复制到链上，而是通过zkTLS证明某项条件成立。
比如只证明“这是一个真实账户”“满足某个等级”或者“具备某项资质”，没必要顺便公开密码、全部余额和完整交易记录。
这件事如果继续往金融场景延伸，意义不只是做几个身份任务，而是给链上信用和风险定价补一块缺失的数据层。
机构需要的也不是一份人人都能翻看的客户档案，而是一份可以验证、又不会泄露商业和个人隐私的证明。
链上金融不可能永远只认抵押品、不认信用。Primus想补的，正是钱包地址背后那部分可以被证明的真实信息。
