recently they announced:

- expansion to Solana, letting users “catch” stocks with any SOL wallet - a Touch Grass leaderboard with weekly rewards for top players - even more locations across the US

Pokémon Go for tokenized stocks is going multichain and the iOS app is coming soon

Robinhood’s tokens are tokenized debt securities issued by an offshore subsidiary. They give price exposure backed 1:1 by collateral (which may not be shares of the underlying stock) held at a US custodian, but they confer no voting rights, no shareholder rights, and no legal claim on the underlying company.

Robinhood itself states they are unregistered under US securities law and may not be offered or sold to US persons.

The SEC exemption only covers trading of “tokenized NMS stock” that gives holders the same rights as ordinary listed shares—including dividends and voting.

It explicitly excludes synthetics and other instruments that provide only economic exposure. Third-party tokens are allowed only if they meet that full-rights test and the underlying company does NOT object after receiving notice.

The order is also limited to permissioned on-chain trading venues (Tokenized Securities Venues using AMMs). It does not create a new registration exemption that would let Robinhood sell its existing debt token trash inside the US. To offer a US-compliant version, Robinhood would need a different legal structure that actually conveys shareholder rights and satisfies Securities Act requirements.

They may be working on that but companies like @AMCTheatres and @gamestop could easily opt-out from having those tokens created by Robbinghood.

Nothing in the token says why. Dividend or split, it's the same number moving.

Our accountant picked it up the same day. It watches every stock token, measures the move against a tight band, checks it isn't a clean split ratio, and stamps the answer on chain. Dividend. Anything ambiguous gets refused, handed to a guardian, and sits through a public delay before it counts. Every classification is public and any protocol on Robinhood Chain can read it for FREE.

That's the oracle. Here's why it matters for lending.

Lend against the raw token and you answer "dividend or split?" on every tick. Call a split a dividend and you pay out income that doesn't exist. Miss a split and a 2 for 1 looks like a 50% crash, and every borrower gets liquidated on a stock that never fell.

pTokens don't have that problem. pSPY, pAAPL, pQQQ, pPFE. The vault reads the oracle, classifies the event and folds it before you ever see it. What's left is a claim on one share at a fixed date, no dividend inside it, that climbs to par and can always be merged back into the stock.

Price only. Known date. Hard floor. That's what collateral is supposed to look like.
