A few thoughts and observations on what's coming.
1. Few people see this, but if you look closely, the pattern becomes clear: I expect data centers to become SpaceX’s biggest revenue stream. Nothing else will come close, not Starlink, not rocket launches (at least in the near term).
2. The data center business could print so much money for SpaceXAI that Elon could easily fund not only a Moon base or a small lunar city, but also a Mars base (city).
3. SpaceX is basically learning to mass manufacture data centers. Next year, it should be able to build roughly one giant data center per month. Some context. Other companies are doing it (atm) in 2-3 years. If you analyze data(what SpaceX is doing) closely you can see $1T revenue is on the horizon, soon.
4. IMO, SpaceX will become the world's richest company well before 2030. It will have the most compute and, with it, the best chance of also having the most powerful AI, which, by then, will most likely be ASI.
From 2028 onward, the numbers will get even crazier.
Imagine the insane projects all that money ($1T+) could fund.
Terafab and Starbase will be small endeavors compared to what will come soon after them.
The rest of the 2020s will be pretty insane for space enthusiasts.
2030s = we will be a different civilization. https://x.com/Dr_Singularity/status/2108633195369431072
