## @TradeCoinDream (TradeCoinDream) · 10-08 07:39 · ♥42 ↻28 💬34 stablecoins may be getting their first real mainstream distribution moment
@SamsungMobileUS just announced USDC transfers inside Samsung Wallet, launching in the last week of October across 82m eligible Galaxy devices in the US
users will be able to send $USDC to compatible wallets internationally, with no Samsung transfer fee, and send to eligible bank accounts in more than 60 countries, where recipients can receive local currency
the interesting part is that users do not need a separate crypto app or have to manage private keys
they use the wallet already sitting on their phone
this is how stablecoins move from a crypto product to a money movement product
@solana and @SuiNetwork are the blockchain rails underneath that distribution layer, with custody and infrastructure from @coinbase and @Bastion https://x.com/TradeCoinDream/status/2108099949993099460
## @JefferyCrypt (JΞFF🧸) · 10-08 09:38 · ♥93 ↻4 💬24 When you hold USDT or USDC, someone earns interest on your dollars, and it isn't you. Open USD changes who that someone is, but it still isn't you.
It's already past $720M across four chains in about a week, backed by more than 140 companies including Visa, Stripe, Coinbase and BlackRock.
The difference is where the reserve interest goes. With USDT and USDC it mostly goes to Tether and Circle, with OUSD it's shared with the companies that bring in the supply and activity, minus a small fee.
I think it's a smart way to get businesses using stablecoins, since every partner now earns from pushing it, but for the people actually holding the dollars, nothing really changes. > 引用 @tokenterminal: Open USD (OUSD) market cap has reached $721.7M across four chains
Tempo leads with $485.9M, ~67% of the total, followed by Ethereum at $100.6M, Solana at $69.5M & Base at $65.6M https://t.co/41E2KWBATx https://x.com/JefferyCrypt/status/2108129847952245084

## @ranacnszz (YΞSSIM) · 10-08 08:58 · ♥52 ↻0 💬63 JPYSC is moving into real corporate finance use cases.
Startale Japan has introduced the Startale Bond, a digital corporate bond in Japan where both interest payments and principal redemption are made in JPYSC.
This brings a yen denominated stablecoin into an actual corporate financing process, creating a direct connection between blockchain infrastructure and traditional financial products.
Throughout the bond’s lifecycle, scheduled interest payments and the principal repayment at maturity will be made in JPYSC.
What stands out here is how JPYSC is being integrated directly into a financial product. This provides a concrete example of how yen stablecoins can be used across bonds, tokenized assets, and different onchain financial applications.
This development marks another step toward bringing yen denominated stablecoins into broader areas of real financial markets.

## @wasabicard (WasabiCard) · 10-08 06:52 · ♥41 ↻17 💬9 What will it take for stablecoin payments to go truly mainstream?
At WasabiCard’s Funds Flow side event during TOKEN2049, Panel 2, “Stable Coins Go Mainstream: From Settlement to Real-world Payment,” brought together Yogesh Sangle from @NiumGlobal , Daxue Wang from Group Lotus, Chye Kit Chionh FICA, CFtP from @WidthGRC , David Sung from @awscloud, and Yifan Zhang from @Safeheron .
The discussion highlighted several essentials for mainstream adoption:
🔹 Yogesh Sangle | @NiumGlobal
“When people stop talking about it.” Mainstream adoption means stablecoins become part of the infrastructure behind payments, with the experience taking centre stage.
🔹 Daxue Wang | Group Lotus
Echoing Yogesh’s view, Daxue agreed that success comes when stablecoin payments feel ordinary—something people use naturally, without needing to think about the technology behind them.
🔹 David Sung | Amazon Web Services (AWS)
“When AI agents handle transactions seamlessly for humans.” His perspective points to a future where agents can make payments on people’s behalf, making the underlying infrastructure less visible to users.
🔹 Chye Kit Chionh FICA, CFtP | Width
“It requires everyone’s effort, with security as the core foundation.” Mainstream adoption is a collective effort, with security underpinning the collaboration needed to move the industry forward.
🔹 Yifan Zhang | @Safeheron
Building trust with traditional industries is essential. Bringing stablecoin payments into established businesses starts with addressing their concerns and earning confidence in the infrastructure supporting each transaction.
Our appreciation to all five speakers and everyone who joined the discussion.
WasabiCard looks forward to advancing the payment infrastructure that connects stablecoin settlement with everyday business needs. https://x.com/wasabicard/status/2108088119446876572
## @Crypt00catalyts (Crypto Catalysts) · 10-08 09:52 · ♥49 ↻8 💬8 PayPal doesn't work in Work in My area, so getting paid as a freelancer was always a nightmare. 30% fees on Payoneer, 4-day delays, terrible USD rate.
Last year a client paid me $300 in USDT on @binance . Received in 2 mins, cashed to Easypaisa P2P same day, full rate.
That's when stablecoins clicked for me.
Thatsa all making things easy for freelancers and crypto everyday life thing and not confining to just trading.
Great thanks to @heyibinance, @cz_binance, and @EowynChen making things happening. https://x.com/Crypt00catalyts/status/2108133403061318040
