account based addresses are still being built. the evm sidechain comes later.

privacy tokens are planned to start on beldex’s existing utxo architecture.

i like that sequencing because it separates two questions that often get bundled together:

can private assets work natively?

and can ethereum style apps eventually use them?

beldex is trying to prove the privacy layer first, then widen the developer surface afterward.

to me, that feels more useful than forcing every new idea through an evm narrative from day one.

first make confidential assets work.

then make them easier to build around.

personal research perspective only.

@NucleusCodes > 引用 @tagsincos: privacy is easy to describe.

much harder to attack.

that’s the detail i cared about in the latest @BeldexCoin audit.

dakara didn’t only inspect code.

they tested whether transaction data could leak, whether bchat protections held, and whether an attacker could impersonate users or reach restricted parts of the system.

those attack paths failed during the assessment.

to me, that’s a better way to think about privacy infrastructure.

not “how private does the product sound?”

but “what happens when someone actively tries to break the assumptions behind it?”

privacy becomes meaningful when the threat model survives contact with an attacker.

personal research perspective only.

@vangrid_io is also building a way to verify where that capture came from, when it was recorded, and whether the record still matches the original data.

The process starts on the device.

Faces and license plates are blurred before upload. Each capture is then fingerprinted with a content hash, coarse geohash, and timestamp.

Those fingerprints are grouped into Merkle batches, with the root anchored on Base through Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS).

The full 3D dataset does not need to live onchain. Instead, the chain holds a cryptographic record that can later be checked against the capture.

And some of this infrastructure is already running:

Android and browser capture are live. USDC bounties are live. GLB reconstruction is live.

Device attestation and $VAN collateral-based verification are still upcoming, so I would keep those separate from what is available today.

The result is spatial data with a record behind it: what was captured, roughly where, when, and a cryptographic fingerprint that can be checked later. https://x.com/FrennyDefi/status/2101558144677601607
