Tariffs, AI, and rare earths are all being discussed ahead of the Trump-Xi summit, while the existing trade truce is set to expire Nov. 10.

I’m not trying to predict the outcome. I’m watching how the different scenarios could affect markets.

If tensions ease, tech and semiconductor stocks could react differently than gold.
